Sobek is most often called the Crocodile God of strength, fertility, the Nile, and occasionally martial associations are thrown in. In my research and reading travels, I have found there is so much more to this primal, resplendent Lord of Woe Who Lives on Lamentations. My hope is to gather all of that information in one place to provide ease of access to anyone who wants to learn more about or get to know the Divine Sobek Ra.

You are so right when you say He is “Sweet of Love”. Crocodile’s caring and fearsome nature towards their eggs and hatchlings is well documented. He Himself, literally appeared in a meditation to me, out of nowhere, and told me I needed a hug.
It was magnificent, I felt so much better afterwards. I call Him “The Lord of Hugs, but I’m going to adopt “Sweet of Love”.
